Sights of interest in Passeiertal Valley

Sights of interest at every turn

There is much to see in the Passeiertal Valley: impressive natural wonders such as the earth pyramids and Passer Ravine, waterfalls, history-laden buildings such as the Schildhöfe, Sandwirt Inn or the Malerhaus (Painter’s House), parish churches and pilgrimage churches, museums dedicated to culture and history, castles, old sawmills and glacial mills. Architectonically impressive rocks line the pass roads, and holidaymakers can even visit prehistoric settlements and modern visitor breweries. In the Passeiertal Valley, many of these sights of interest are “right by the wayside”. So it’s easy to combine a visit to them with a nice walk or a day out with the family.
