A melody can touch the heart, but when combined with lyrics, choral music releases an even greater power: it challenges, entertains, and stirs emotions that leave a lasting impression. The female ensemble Raindrops invites the audience to listen closely to the words—perhaps some will recognize themselves in the lyrics.
Under the direction of Michela Virgadaula, the choir explores a wide range of life’s situations: sometimes serious, sometimes with a playful, light touch, and in different languages. Accompanied by harp, violin, and piano, the singers bring not only sound to the stage, but also movement.
