The traditional, small Tanta-Emma-Läden (Aunt Emma shops) and charming boutiques in and outside the city reveal many fashion and culinary surprises. There, shoppers can find souvenirs from South Tyrol, such as traditional blue aprons, delicious speck, and local wines. Or perhaps a bit of Italy to take home, such as parmesan, pasta, or olives. Long shopping evenings in summer make shopping easy, and possible late into the cool night hours.
