Just in the spa town of Merano/Meran, there are 70 publicly accessible drinking fountains. Twelve historically significant fountains in the town center form the Brunnenweg trail. This delightful path leads from the promenades through the Steinach district in the old town of Merano to the arcades (Laubengasse in German).
