PLEASE NOTE: Due to the measures adopted by the Italian government to contain the Coronavirus, the entire Therme Meran spa complex will be closed to the public until April 3, 2020.
Merano’s Thermal Baths offer visitors maximum relaxation in an incomparable environment that unites the enchantment of Alpine peaks with the city’s Mediterranean appeal. After extensive renovations, this centrally-located spa complex presents itself in a new guise, encompassing an additional 3,550 square meters. The newly-created facilities comprise a sauna lounge, a roof-top whirlpool with a roof deck, a Kneipp garden and exclusive pool suites.
Matteo Thun, celebrated designer and interior architect for Merano’s Thermal Baths, has created an oasis of wellness in the heart of the city. The glass cube, which has very clean architectural lines, offers an unparalleled panoramic view of the Gruppo di Tessa (Texelgruppe) Mountains, giving visitors the feeling of being immersed in nature.
There are 15 indoor and outdoor pools available to visitors year round while the sauna facility offers eight saunas and steam rooms. The thermal park is a wonderful place to experience nature. From early to late summer, the ten pools for swimmers and non-swimmers and the Kneipp course offer refreshment.
Anyone passionate about sports cannot help but be excited about the wide range of options offered by the Fitness Centre. At the Spa & Vital Center, South Tyrolean products such as apples, grapes, whey, chestnuts or hay are used in conjunction with the Terme Merano line of cosmetic products, which is apple based.
