Eagle, snake, woodpecker and Atlas
These four plant sculptures are located on the Gilf Promenade, a trail running along the bank of the Passer River, featuring numerous subtropical plants and a great view of the Gilf Gorge. The frames for the sculptures were created in the municipal smithy and subsequently filled with mosses, ferns and cushion plants. Next to Atlas holding the Earth on his shoulders, to an eagle and a snake, a woodpecker adorns a cedar and makes for a valuable store of raw materials for real woodpeckers building nests.
