The Prokulus Kirche church in Naturno/Naturns is one of the most famous landmarks in South Tyrol. The 7th Century frescoes depict scenes from the life of St. Proculus. They are among the most significant art treasures in Central Europe, and the only early medieval frescoes from this period in continental Europe.

Right next to the Prokulus Kirche church in Naturno is the contemporary St. Proculus and Museum. Underground spaces show the history of the area in Late Antiquity, the Early Middle Ages, the Gothic Era and the time of the Plague, as well as the removed frescoes from the church next door.
