Route description

Take the public bus to Partschins and then get your tickets for a second shuttle service up to the 97 meter-high Partschins waterfall, one of the biggest and most beautiful falls in the entire Alpine region. It is at its most impressive from May to July when a thundering, awesome cascade of melted snow-water tumbles over the massive, free-standing rock face or at any other time of the year after an exceptionally heavy rainfall. The air near the fall is especially moist and humid and its water has a remarkable refreshing, invigorating effect on the lungs and immune system.
Leaving the waterfall behind you, take path no. 8 up to Nassereith and then walk on along path no. 24, the Meraner Höhenweg, to the Gigglberg, Hochforch, Pirch and on as far as Grub where path no. 6 will lead you back to Naturno. A real adventure and the perfect walk for those who want to enjoy the natural beauty of the flora and fauna of the Texel Group Nature Park.
