From the irrigation channel path of Rablà to the Sonnenberg Mountain Panoramic Trail to Naturnol

The Monte Sole (Sonnenberg) of the Val Venosta valley from Partschins/Parcines to Mals/Malles  is known for its steppe-like vegetation.

General description

The Monte Sole Panorama Trail n°91 (Sonnenberger Panoramaweg) connects Rabland/Rablà with the neighboring village of Naturno/Naturns, and offers hikers breathtaking views of the valley and the surrounding mountains and villages.

The way leads from the valley station of the Texelbahn cableway (at 633 m a.s.l.) via path No. 1 to the Winklerhof snack bar. From there, continue westwards along the Panoramic Trail No. 91 to Naturno. The path runs almost level, and reveals itself as a true panoramic route. It rises briefly from the village where you can visit the famous ancient church of St. Proculus and its museum. Bus No. 265 and No. 251 as well as the Venosta Valley Railway lead back to Rablà/Parcines.

Texelbahn valley station, Rablà: all day, at the parking places. Parking of camper vans available from 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Public transport

From Merano: with the Venosta Valley Railway or bus 251 to Rablà and from there, take bus 265 to the Texelbahn cableway.
From Venosta Valley: with the Venosta Valley Railway or bus 251 to Rablà, and from there, take bus number 265 or 266 to the Texelbahn cableway.
