From Riolagundo/ Aschbach to the Eggersteig path
The Riolagundo/ Aschbach cable car quickly ascends to 1,362 m, bringing visitors up to the attractive village of Riolagundo/ Aschbach, one of the best hikes for exploring Monte Tramontana!

Directions
The cableway Aschbach/Riolagundo leads from Rablà/ Rabland up to the idyllic village of Riolagundo at 1,362m. From the mountain station, take Route No. 27A along the trail through the forest to the intersection with Route No. 27. From there take Route No. 30 until the Mahlbach dam, at 1218 m) and after a 10 min. hike on Route No. 29 at the fork, take the turning to the right and continue for about 25 min. on Route No. 9 as it winds its way downhill, past the old lime furnace in Quadrat to the Brünnl Inn and then on to to the Gramegg Inn. The tar road leads to the Riolagundo intersection past the Niederhof Inn at 811 m. From here take Route No. 29A to the "Badlweg” (along the forest track to Tel) and then to the lower Riolagundo Cable Car Station at 525 m.
