Long known for its medicinal properties, the dandelion also has a wonderful taste. It thrives in the ideal conditions of the Alta Val di Non/Deutschnonsberg area, and there is also a local festival dedicated to it.

The Dandelion Weeks have been held annually since 1996 and is one of the oldest specialized food fairs in South Tyrol.
