Above the clouds, freedom is limitless. Paragliding in Hafling/Avelengo, Vöran/Verano and Meran 2000 is a particularly unforgettable experience during winter, among the surrounding snow-capped peaks. The view extends from the Ortler massif and the Texelgruppe mountain range to the Oetztal Alps, and from the Dolomites to the Brenta summits.
Beginners can experience the feeling of weightlessness in a tandem flight. Local paragliding clubs offer tandem flights with experienced and trained pilots. Paragliding equipment is provided.
At the Meran 2000 Cable Car mountain station, there is a new launch site for paragliders. Landings can be performed in the vicinity of the cable car station in Meran/Merano and in the village of Dorf Tirol/Tirolo. Professionals accompany guests during tandem flights and safely back to earth. The necessary equipment for paragliding equipment can be rented.
