The Merano Marketing Tourism Consortium (MGM) is the new hub for tourism expertise in Merano and its surrounding areas, serving as a strategic partner to all affiliated tourism associations. Its mission is to market the broader Merano and Environs holiday region.

Bringing together 14 local tourism associations and the Merano Tourist Office, this platform fosters a shared strategy and results-driven, open dialogue. With respect for different perspectives and a commitment to improving the quality of life for both visitors and residents, the goal is clear: tourism should not divide, but unite.

This brand is consistently and powerfully positioned — as a destination of the highest quality, diversity, and experience.

It monitors market data and research, processes results, defines the strategic path, delivers impulses, connects tourism players, and ensures a strong, professional public presence.
The Merano Marketing Tourism Consortium focuses on four central tourism themes: City & Culture, Soft Mobility & Outdoor Experiences, Health & Well-being, and Taste & Tradition.

These areas reflect the essence of the region and serve as the foundation for a clear and distinctive positioning. A key focus of future communication lies on spring as an attractive shoulder season, aiming to distribute visitor arrivals more evenly across the year.

In collaboration with IDM and other regional partners, sustainable approaches are being actively developed – including initiatives to promote eco-friendly travel to and within the destination.
