The voices of the inhabitants of (todays) Rijeka take us through one of the most interesting historical events of the 20th century: the sixteen months of occupation of the city by the poet Gabriele D'Annunzio and his legionnaires.
Fiume o morte! is a docufiction that reconstructs the events of Gabriele D'Annunzio's rule over Fiume. Originally from the city, director Igor Bezinović explores and rediscovers the lesser-known parts of Fiume's history from over a century ago.
