National Riesling competition

Naturns is pleased to host the 20th National Riesling Competition this year. On July 1st a panel of national and international experts and wine connoisseurs will evaluate the submitted Riesling wines from various regions of Italy, placing particular emphasis on the highest quality and typicity. This year, Rieslings from the 2024 vintage will be tasted.

The technical direction of the competition has been taken over by Mr. Ulrich Pedri from the Laimburg Research Centre.
The best national Riesling of the 2024 vintage will be awarded on November 6th, 2026, as part of the Merano WineFestival.
