Ham & Cheese Snack

Crispy baked bread topped with ham, melted cheese and fresh tomatoes – quick, delicious, and waste-free.

4 slices of stale bread
4 slices of cooked ham
1 ball of mozzarella, burrata, or other melting cheese
Cherry tomatoes
Salt, pepper
Oregano (fresh or dried)
Preparation
Lightly toast the bread slices in a frying pan on both sides, without adding any fat.
Place them in a non-stick baking dish and top with ham, sliced cheese, and halved cherry tomatoes. Season with salt, pepper, and oregano.
Bake in a preheated oven at 200 °C (390 °F) for about 5–10 minutes.
Remove from the oven, serve, and enjoy.

TIP: This quick snack is also perfect for using up leftover vegetables. It tastes just as good with multigrain bread.
