Organising Events Responsibly

Events bring people together in the Passeiertal Valley and provide opportunities to experience the region's culture and traditions in an Alpine landscape where nature, culture and everyday life are closely connected. At the same time, they require energy, transport, infrastructure and careful planning.

Together with event organisers, we are committed to planning and delivering events in an increasingly responsible way so that they fit harmoniously into this living environment. The focus is on practical measures that can be adapted to the size and nature of each event.
These include ensuring good access by public transport, using reusable systems, making conscious choices regarding catering and materials, and carefully planning logistics and the use of resources.

Working with Regional Partners
Many events in the Passeiertal Valley work closely with local producers, craftspeople and service providers. Products from the valley play an important role, whether in catering or in the practical organisation of events. This creates shorter supply chains and directly supports local businesses.

Organising with Responsibility
Depending on the size and type of event, different priorities are set. Event organisers can draw on existing structures and recommendations in areas such as sustainable mobility, waste prevention and the efficient use of resources.
Many of these measures are already part of everyday event management and continue to be refined over time.

Continuous Improvement
Events continue to evolve, as do the requirements for organising them. Existing processes are regularly reviewed and further developed together with our partners across the valley.
