The dream of flying becomes reality while paragliding in the Val Passiria/Passeiertal Valley. The Sarntal Alps are considered one of the most beautiful flying areas in South Tyrol. From the middle or mountain station of the Hirzer Cable Car, paragliders can soar with an instructor above the green alpine landscape and down to the landing area in the village of Saltusio/Saltaus. The longest and most thrilling route is the one-hour flight from the Hirzer high plateau to the valley. Paragliding in the Passeiertal Valley requires no prior knowledge and is allowed from the age of five.
