Starting from Jochgrimm (Passo Oclini), we hike across alpine meadows and through mountain pine shrubs to the summit of Weißhorn (2,313 m). The final section of the ascent crosses rocky terrain and requires sure-footedness. At the summit, we are rewarded with magnificent views of the Rosengarten (Catinaccio), Latemar, the Brenta Dolomites, and as far as the Ortler Group. We descend along the edge of the Bletterbach Gorge (sure-footedness required) to a beautiful viewpoint. From there, we continue through the forest to Gurndin Alpine Hut (Gurndinalm) and finally return to Jochgrimm via a forest road.

Approach
Meeting point is the tourism office Schenna. (Erzherzog-Johann-Platz 1/D).
Arrival by public transport: Bus line 231 from Meran – get off at bus stop Schenna Dorf (about 50 m away).

Simply bring your water bottle with you – in Schenna you can fill it directly from the tap before your hike and along the way at the many drinking fountains with high-quality mountain water.

The ticket can be cancelled free of charge up to 2 days before the hike, after which 50 percent of the ticket price will be charged. For cancellations on the day of the event and in case of no-shows, no refund will be given.
