"Lana Becomes a Town – A Village Through Changing Times" (2007)

When does a village become a town? And what might be lost along the way? As early as 2003, Lana surpassed the milestone of 10,000 inhabitants, and its population has continued to grow ever since. Yet despite this growth and change, Lana has remained, in many ways, what it has always been: a village, a home, and a place where people come together. The film explores this transformation and raises questions that are still relevant today—from architectural, social, and human perspectives. These themes are explored by Günther Haller and Robert Huez in this documentary.
