As the Second World War drew near and having lost everything, Maria Reiche fled Germany and ended up in Peru. She only discovered her true calling in life when she set out on a journey into the Nazca Desert and came across mysterious lines drawn on the ground. Against all odds and against everyone’s expectations, Maria ties her fate to the ‘Nazca Lines’ and accepts the mission of uncovering their meaning.
