Movie in italian language: Agent of happiness - Il Bhutan e la felicità

There is a country where progress is not measured in wealth, but in happiness. A journey into the heart of Bhutan to discover what it really means to be happy.

The film’s protagonist is Amber, a forty-year-old woman who lives with her mother and dreams of one day finding true love. Her dreamy nature has led her to take up the role of ‘happiness officer’: commissioned by the Bhutanese government to travel across the country to gather data on the population’s well-being.



A moving road movie that weaves together lives, desires, vulnerabilities and hopes, painting an authentic portrait of contemporary Bhutan.
