Jo and Raissa, two recent school leavers who have been friends since childhood, are now ready to set off on different paths in life. During their last night together, they stumble upon a mysterious portal that transports them to the fantastical island of Nakali, a place inhabited by magical and mythological creatures. Together with Raww, a somewhat bumbling dog-werewolf, and a small group of new companions, they must face the fearsome Manananggal, the island’s most dangerous creature. The price of returning home is sacrificing all their memories of their friendship; Jo and Raissa must find a way to leave the island before they forget each other forever.
