Movie in German language: Der Klang der Stradivari

To fulfil her late father’s dream, Astrid plans to organise a concert featuring four exceptional musicians, each playing a Stradivarius. Yet even during rehearsals at a secluded château, vanity and rivalries amongst the virtuosos begin to cause tension. To save this ambitious project, Astrid turns to the eccentric composer Charlie Beaumont.



With a wonderful ensemble of musicians and actors, as well as a score composed especially for the film, Grégory Magne crafts a subtle comedy about the art of collaboration, both on stage and in life.
