Hike along the Keschtnweg (Chestnut Trail)
Together with Reinhold Runer, we hike along the Keschtnweg (Chestnut Trail) to the highest farms above Terlan, passing the Holzmann Farm, Gruner Farm and Wegscheider Farm before reaching the Bergjosl mountain inn.
We depart from Terlan by bus no. 204 at 9:33 a.m. to Montigl. From there, we hike to the Holzmann Farm and continue via the Gruner and Wegscheider farms to the Bergjosl mountain inn.
At around 12:30 p.m., we stop for lunch at the Bergjosl mountain inn, where you can enjoy magnificent views over the Adige Valley.
After lunch, we begin our return hike to Oberlegar. From there, we take bus no. 204 back to Terlan at either 2:15 p.m. or 3:15 p.m. Alternatively, you can descend on foot via the steep historic road to Mölten back to Terlan.

Price: Participation is free of charge. Lunch and drinks are to be paid individually on site.
Please remember to bring your South Tyrol Guest Pass.
Important: The hike includes approximately 500 metres of ascent and several steep sections. A good level of fitness and sturdy hiking boots are essential.
The hike will be cancelled in case of rain.
