Ski touring evenings at the mountain hut Kuhleitenhütte

Experience the adventurous ski touring evenings at the mounain hut Kuhleitenhütte in the Merano 2000 ski area!
Every Thursday and Friday, the Kuhleitenhütte also opens in the evening (5.00 - 11.00 pm) and thus offers the unique opportunity to explore the ski area at night.
The designated route takes you up the 6-kilometre-long route and 752 metres in altitude to the Kuhleitenhütte; the descent must also take place via the designated pistes and before 11.00 pm (see description below).

These are not guided ski tours - each participant goes up and down the route independently. Basic skiing skills are required and each ski tourer is responsible for their own safety.

The signposted route starts at the car park in Falzeben. It leads past the new Wallpach reservoir to the Rotwandhütte hut and continues along the middle hiking trail towards the Waidmann Alm to the little St. Oswald church and the Kuhleitenhütte hut.
Descend from the Oswald lift via the "Ziehweg" to the Piffinger Köpfel and via piste no. 1A to Falzeben. Entering and skiing on the other pistes is prohibited in the evening and outside operating hours!
