A leisurely walk with beautiful views on the village of Vöran/Verano.
The Beimstein Knott is one of three tuff knolls. These three tuff knolls are of volcanic origin and are unparalleled in South Tyrol. Additionally is impressive for its stunning view overlooking the village of Vöran.
On the red rock is placed a new installation, called “Attimo” installation. It is comprised of five chairlift seats placed in a row, representing an imaginary chairlift.
The hike starts in the center of Vöran; trail no. 16 leads gently uphill toward the Oberwirt restaurant and continues below the Grüner Baum Inn. Here, trail no. 12 first takes you left through the forest up to the Beimstein Knott, from where you have a beautiful view of the village of Vöran. The descent follows trail no. 12 back to the first intersection, then continues left along forest trail no. 14 until you return to the village of Vöran.
