The Vertigen Chestnut Loop Walk is a varied circular walk through chestnut groves, meadows and quiet rural landscapes above Partschins. Along the route, nature, traditional farming and cultural highlights come together. Especially in autumn, when the chestnut trees turn golden and the fruits are ripe, the walk is particularly attractive. Thanks to its gentle route, it is ideal for families and also suitable for buggies.

Partschins church square – Huben Street – Vertigen Street – Hotel Niedermair – Graswegerkeller Buschenschank tavern– trail 7A – Huben Street – Partschins church square
The starting point and destination of the walk is Partschins church square. From here, the route passes the Peter Mitterhofer Typewriter Museum and the Parish Church of St Peter and Paul, then follows Huben Street northwards.
After a short distance, the walk reaches Vertigen Street and continues along trail 10B, which leads through meadows and chestnut groves to Hotel Niedermair. Here, the route turns left and follows the signs to the Graswegerkeller Buschenschank, a traditional tavern, refreshment stop along the way.
The return follows trail 7A back towards Partschins. Via Huben Street, the walk finally returns to the church square, completing the loop.
