Buses and trains: comfortable and eco-friendly transport in Merano

South Tyrol and the spa town of Merano have a well-developed network of public transport. Bus, train and cable car routes allow visitors to easily move around Merano with a high degree of flexibility.

Please note
On city and suburban buses up to a distance of 10 km, until further notice, tickets cannot be bought on board – they must therefore first be bought at the Meran Tourist Office, at the suedtirolmobil Info Point Office in Rennweg 151 street or at the train station at a cost of € 1.50 per person per journey.
The train schedules are updated on a seasonal basis and are available at the railway stations, the SAD bus station Info Offices or online at www.suedtirolmobil.info.

The "Südtirolmobil app" offers all train and bus connections with just one click, with practical information on timetable including route planning and stop sequence, fare information, tips and corresponding map material.
