On the Panoramic Trail between alpine meadows, rocky landscapes and stunning views
You start at the parking area in Pfelders and take the Grünboden-Express cable car up to the Grünboden Hütte Alp. From there, you begin the Panoramic Trail no. 4 towards Faltschnal Alm Alp. After just a few minutes, you reach the impressive Stone Labyrinth, set among unusual rock formations and small viewpoints. You continue hiking above Pfelders to the Faltschnal Alm Alp, anjoying sweeping views of the peaks of the main chain of the Alps. The Panoramic Trail leads you across alpine meadows and later through shaded forest down to Lazins Inn, where you cross the Pfelderer Bach stream. You then follow the Merano High Mountain Trail no. 24 downstream towards Zeppichl. From there, you return comfortably to Pfelders along the asphalt road.
War sturdy hiking boots, appropriate clothing for the weather and bring sufficient water and provisions.
• Coming from Meran towards the Passeiertal Valley, take the Jaufenstraße SS44 to St. Leonhard, continue towards Moos, take on the Timmelsjochstraße and continue on the SP114 to Pfelders
• Coming from the Timmelsjoch, take on the Timmelsjochstraße to Moos and continue on the SP114 to Pfelders
• Coming from the Jaufenpass towards St. Leonhard, take the Jaufenstraße SS44, continue towards Moos on the Timmelsjochstraße and continue on the SP114 to Pfelders
