The exhibition *Figures that Explain the World* and its accompanying workshops offer an opportunity to discover non-fiction picture books as fertile borderlands where aesthetics and knowledge converge, where the image becomes a universal language accessible at different levels to all ages, and where beauty becomes the key to discovery and knowledge.
