Hike. Discover many fascinating and interesting things along one of the Waalwege trails around Merano.
Swim. Take a dive into the indoor pool of the Meranarena, the pools at Terme Merano or the "Lido" outdoor swimming pool!
Horse riding. For those who prefer to sit firmly in the saddle – take a riding lesson at the Riding Center Merano or a horseback ride.
Biking. Are you a bicycle enthusiasts? A trip by bike can be exciting for the whole family.
Adventure. How about some thrills at the largest high rope climbing garden in South Tyrol, located at the Taser family mountain pasture above Scena/Schenna? Or a rafting tour in the nearby Vinschgau or Passeiertal valleys? Or perhaps a breathtaking descent with the Alpine Bob at Merano 2000, after a visit to the child-friendly "Kinderland"?
Plants and museums. At the Gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle you can see many types of plants and can visit the cool tourism museum, "Touriseum".
Birds of Prey Show and Tyrol Castle. Falcons, eagles and other birds can be admired at the care center for birds of prey at Tyrol Castle. Do not miss the exciting air show. Tyrol Castle itself tells a lot of stories about the region and its people.

Here you can: playgrounds are found in the Elisabeth Park on the Summerpromenade trail, on the Kurpromenade trail above the Tourist Office Merano, in the park of the Protestant Church on the Passerpromenade trail, in the Maiser Park in Maia Alta/Obermais, in the Rosegger Park in Via s. Giorgio/St. Georgenstraße street (Maia Alta), next to the parish church in Maia Bassa/Untermais, in Texel Park (Via Monte Tessa/Texelstraße street) and in Via Marlengo/Marlinger Straße street near the nursery.
