TuesdayNight in Merano

The summer program of Merano would not be complete without the very popular event series "TuesdayNight".

It's the cult date of the Merano Summer: when the sun goes down on Tuesday evenings, in Merano the light of concerts, events and good entertainment shines! The series of events has captured the hearts of the people of Merano and guests alike, who flock to the city centre, together with people from the surrounding area, to celebrate the joy of summer. It’s the perfect opportunity for guests to get to know the city and its inhabitants better.

A ballroom under the stars, children’s laughter at dusk, and handcrafted treasures to discover – this is what Tuesday Evenings in Merano are all about.

Five stages in the city center offer a wide variety of music: from 8:30 PM to 11 PM, various bands perform, turning the downtown area into a large open-air stage – with music for every taste.

When the music starts at 9 PM on Sandplatz, the square transforms into the city’s largest dance floor. Until 11 PM, everyone is welcome to join in – whether you're a beginner or a seasoned dancer. Local dance schools will be on hand to show the right moves and guide you through simple choreographies. Free entry, no excuses – just dance!

This year the Kids Corner, is again located on the Kurpromenade directly in front of the Kurhaus. From 8 PM to 10 PM, children can enjoy magical moments, clowns, creative workshops, a face-painting station, and the joyful Baby Dance – even the littlest ones can take part!

Starting at 6:30 PM, the Craft Market on the upper section of Freiheitsstraße, in front of the Merano Tourist Office, showcases handmade creations and regional products.

Tuesday Evenings are a celebration for all the senses – and an essential part of summer in Merano.
