By accessing this website without registration and using the media content provided free of charge, users agree to these terms of use.

The Schenna Tourist Association reserves the right to amend and/or update these terms of use, or individual provisions thereof, at any time without prior notice.
Should any provision be declared null and void or otherwise invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.


Permissible Use

The Schenna Tourist Association holds all usage rights, including the right to license such rights to third parties, for the following materials:

• Photographs
• Videos
• Graphic files
• Text documents

(hereinafter referred to as “media”).

All available media are protected under copyright law. The website, its underlying software, and its database are likewise subject to copyright protection.
Provision of this content for use under these terms does not imply any waiver of intellectual property rights.


Credit and Attribution Requirements

When publishing or using media, the following source and copyright notice must be clearly indicated: “Schenna Tourist Association / First name and surname of the author”.
This credit must appear:

• directly below or beside the respective media
• in the imprint or legal notice
• within the social media post

Authorized Users and Permitted Uses

Media may be used by authorized users in the following areas and for the following purposes:

Users with legal domicile outside the Province of South Tyrol:

• Journalists, media professionals, and PR agencies for editorial reporting related to Schenna
• Tour operators for the promotion of Schenna in the tourism sector

Users with legal domicile within the Province of South Tyrol:
Media may be used by authorized users in the following areas and for the following purposes:

• Tourism (accommodation and gastronomy): to communicate tourism-related topics or indicate the location of the business (i.e., to state that the company is based in Schenna)
• Related sectors (e.g., trade, crafts): for product presentation and indication of business location. Note: The media may not be used on product packaging or directly on the product.
• Agriculture: for product presentation and indication of business location. Note: The media may not be used on product packaging or directly on the product.
• Manufacturing and services: for indication of business location. Note: The media may not be used on product packaging or directly on the product.

Use of Videos

Videos may not be edited, altered, or modified in any way. Additional video content about or from Schenna can be found on the official YouTube channel “Schenna” and may be embedded or linked (e.g., on websites, newsletters, or social media). These videos must not be altered or edited either.


Prohibited Uses

1. Any use beyond the permitted scope above — particularly for commercial purposes directly linked to the media (e.g., sale of images, photo books, calendars, postcards, or use as a book or magazine cover) — is not permitted.
2. Use of media to promote the user’s own products or services (e.g., social media posts, brochure covers) is not permitted.
3. Use of media for political advertising or electoral campaigning is strictly prohibited.
4. Media must be used appropriately and may not be associated with pornographic, racist, extremist, or otherwise illegal or unethical content.
5. Any use that could damage the image or reputation of Schenna or the Schenna Tourist Association is strictly prohibited.
6. Unauthorized transfer to third parties, resale, reproduction on personal storage devices, or archiving of the media is not permitted.
7. The provided media may not be edited, altered, adapted, or otherwise manipulated.

Any use not expressly permitted under these terms requires the prior written consent of the Schenna Tourist Association.
Unauthorized sharing with third parties or improper use will be subject to investigation. The Association reserves the right to take action in the event of suspected misuse or significant violation of these terms.


Indemnity and Limitation of Liability

The Schenna Tourist Association accepts no liability for breaches of the obligations arising from these terms of use. The user shall bear sole responsibility and agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Schenna Tourist Association from and against any third-party claims, demands, or liabilities.


Final Provisions

These terms of use and all legal relations between the user and the Schenna Tourist Association shall be governed exclusively by Italian law. Should any provision of these terms be found to be null or invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. The place of performance and exclusive jurisdiction for all disputes arising in connection with the Schenna Tourist Association is Bolzano, insofar as legally permissible.
