Everywhere in the internet you'll find weather pages that supposedly offer an exact forecast for any place on earth. Mostly, these are automatic forecasts of a meteorological computer program, and the forecasts are often for several weeks ahead.
Our weather forecasts for South Tyrol are made by the weather service of the autonomous province of Bolzano. The weather forecast is done by certified meteorologists, who use the results of the computer model as a basis, but improve the forecast with the local characteristics of the area and their experience. Furthermore, the forecasts are limited to a maximum period of one week, since longer forecasts are not very reliable, especially in a complex area like the Alps.
