The Ifinger peak is also referred to as the local mountain of Hafling, Meran and Schenna and reaches a height of 2,581m. The summit offers a wonderful panoramic view. Mountaineering experience and sure-footedness are prerequisites for reaching the summit.

Directions

After approximately 700m, the chapel of St. Oswald (2,200m) is located on the left.

Continue over the Oswaldscharte to the Kuhleiten mountain hut at 2,363 meters. Following trail No. 19, you first reach the Small Ifinger Peak (2,552m) via the left fork. From here, you already have a wonderful view over the valley. At the right fork, the secured via ferrata section to the Big Ifinger Peak begins.
