Fishing in the lakes and streams of Lana

Fishing enthusiasts in Lana and the surrounding area can choose between a lively mountain stream or the small pond near the Krebsbach restaurant.

Rainbow and brown trout as well as brook and Arctic char can be found in the reservoirs of St. Walburg and St. Pankraz in the Ulten Valley. Anglers also appreciate the Falschauer river and the mountain stream Passer in the Passeier Valley. Along around ten kilometres of the Passer, fly fishing is also possible.

Fishing in Lana and the surrounding area is only permitted with a state fishing licence and a daily fishing permit. The Italian fishing licence can be purchased at the Lana and Environs Tourist Office. The daily permit is available online or at the tourist association in Lana.
