Texelgruppe Nature Park

The mountain world in the Passeiertal Valley

The Texelgruppe Nature Park extends to the west of the Passeiertal Valley, with a total area of 33,430 km2 and a unique alpine vegetation. Deer, chamois, marmots and ibex all dwell here.

The high alpine Spronserseen lake area, with its wide glaciers and mountain peaks rising to 3.700m a.s.l. are representative of the diverse mountain world of the Texelgruppe Nature Park. In the heart of the mountain massif lies the village of Moos/Moso, an ideal starting point for numerous hikes. It is also easy from here to explore the surrounding area, including the idyllic mountain village of Pfelders/Plan as well as other villages in the Passeiertal Valley.

Rules of behaviour in the natur park

In order to protect the sensitive areas in the nature parks, visitors should observe a few rules of behaviour on site:
np-regeln-2400-x-1160

1: Leave your vehicle and explore the nature park on foot.
2: We understand that you want to use the beautiful nature for camping. But our campsites are even more beautiful than the nature park. You can find all the information here.
3: Don't leave anything in the countryside and take your rubbish back down to the valley.
4: Avoid making noise so as not to scare the wild animals.
5: Remember that the plants are also protected and therefore must not be picked.
6: We know that it is very tempting to pick the beautiful mushrooms. But unfortunately this is not possible in the nature park. Here you can find out how this is regulated in Passeiertal Valley.
7: Please stay on selected paths with your bike.
8: Make sure that your dog does not disturb the fauna of the nature park and keep it on a lead if necessary.
9: Avoid lighting a fire.
10: You have found a fossil or minerals. This explains what you need to do now.
11: The use of a drone is not permitted in the nature park.
