Shady uphill hike, scenic downhill
Starting point: Magdfeld
Endpoint: Magdfeld
Refreshment stop: Magdfeld, Faglsalm mountain hut, Naserhof mountain inn
From Magdfeld (direction west) 1.5 km on the moderately ascending road to Waldwies. Shortly after Waldwies left (southwest) ascent on an old pretty steep alpine road through the shady forest to reach the mountain meadows of the picturesque Faglsalm mountain hut (4). Above the pasture the way continues 125 m uphill (direction southwest) to the Faglssee lake (4).
From the lake the way leads back down to the Alpine dairy, then without height difference (to the east) to the nearby mountain ridge (6). Get off on the ridge to the northeast (6a) and go just below the right, steep downhill for about 150 m and then along the hill (to the northeast) to Naserhof mountain inn. Finally, through the shady woods to the starting point Magdfeld (6a).
