In the traditionally rural area around Schenna/Scena, around a dozen farms offer their own agricultural products as local producers and direct sellers. Their range extends from apples and grapes, jam, vinegar and
wine, to cheese, herbs and many other local products that are also offered for
sale directly from the farm. In addition, the wineries in the area organize regular tours and tastings of their elegant wines.
Some farms in and around Schenna offer their high-quality products for sale at their own
farm shops, including the Boarbichl, which operates its own cheese dairy, the Gröberhof, which offers everything related to apples and grapes in its farm fruit shop. The farm shops Hilburgerhof and Oberhaslerhof also offer local products, including medicinal herbs and mountain herbs.
Bacon is offered at the Speck Ladele bacon shop, the butchery Pföstl and at Raich Speck. Wines can be tasted and bought in the Vinothek Mairhofer wine store and the wine cellars of Schenna and the surrounding area. The butchery Pföstl also sells regional and
Italian delicacies.
