The starting point for the hike is the Steinrast parking lot. Hiking trail number 4B and 4A takes you along a beautiful hiking path, passing the cozy Kühberg Alm, which is located along the way. Stay on trail number 4A and 4 until you reach the Kofelraster Seen lakes. After the first lake, turn left and continue on trail number 4 until you finally reach the summit cross of the Hohen Dieb.
From Steinrast we follow the marking no. 4B and 4A to the Kühberg alpine hut and further to the Kofelraster Seen lakes. From there we follow the marking no. 4 again and again to the summit.
