Amateur ornithologist Erich Gasser shares his knowledge of birds’ behaviour and habitats during a walk through the vineyards and the woods.
On a walk through the vineyards and woods to the Maultasch hilltop ruins, Erich Gasser, an enthusiastic amateur ornithologist from Gargazon, will draw our attention to the various calls of the local birdlife. He will share his knowledge of the birds’ behaviour and habitat with the participants. With a bit of luck, we may also spot rarer species such as the hoopoe.
The event will go ahead even in light rain. In the event of heavy rain, it will be postponed to 30 May.
Sturdy footwear is required as we will be returning via the direct, steeper route to the starting point.
