MeranoKlezmerDance 25 - COME IN, CAFÈ ODESA – TALK AND SING

Singer Rosamond van Wingerden and trumpeter Peter Sint Nicolaas are two dedicated young musicians who travelled from Brussels and had the courage to tour Odessa in June. They played courageously and fearlessly, even during the still frequent air raid sirens. They bring us ‘Yiddish Lid’ and historically informed klezmer music, just as it was once sung in Odessa. Rosamond and Peter will tell us about their experiences in the city in this Shabbat-inspired ‘Talk with Music’. The Gospel Choir will contribute with songs.
