There are many
mountain biking and
cycling routes of varying levels of difficulty running through the four villages in
Alta Val di Non/Deutschnonsberg.
The ascent to the Gampenpass mountain pass (Passo Palade in Italian) is one of the most popular
mountain biking routes in South Tyrol. The asphalt road from the village of Lana crosses the pass and leads down to the villages of Senale/Unser Frau and S. Felice/St. Felix before reaching the Mendelpass.
There are several well-known
cycling trails leading across the
 Maddalene mountain range and the
Mendelkamm ridge. The Rankipino trail from Gampenpass mountain pass (Passo Palade in Italian) to the village of Mostizzolo at the foot of Val di Sole Valley is extremely popular with off-road cyclists. The trail is connected to the legendary Brenta Dolomites bike route.
Passing the nearby village of Fondo, this 25 km
cycle circuit passes through historic towns and high plateau pastures, also great for families with children.
