With the mighty Weißkugel mountain, and many other three-thousand meter high mountains, the area around the Schnalskamm ridge is one of the finest ski areas in the Alps. The Schnalstal Glacier cable car shortens the ascent, and ski tourers can
travel up the mountains relatively easily and quickly. From 2026, a designated ski touring route will be available from Kurzras (2,011 m) up to Grawand (3,212 m).
