Ski Tours in Schnalstal Valley

Ski tours for all at the Schnalstal Glacier

With the mighty Weißkugel mountain, and many other three-thousand meter high mountains, the area around the Schnalskamm ridge is one of the finest ski areas in the Alps. The Schnalstal Glacier cable car shortens the ascent, and ski tourers can travel up the mountains relatively easily and quickly. From 2026, a designated ski touring route will be available from Kurzras (2,011 m) up to Grawand (3,212 m). The route is marked with green flags and runs alongside the ski slope. The opening status can be found on the Alpin Arena Senales website: www.schnalstal.com.
.

Trained mountain guides are available to accompany winter sports lovers on ski tours through the Oetztal Alps. They have tour suggestions and can lead tours to peaks off the beaten path. The two most important bases for ski touring, the Similaunhütte mountain hut and the Schöne Aussicht mountain hut, remain open until early May.

We recommend that you note the current weather and avalanche status before every ski tour. More information at https://avalanche.report.
