The
Südtirol Alto Adige Guest Pass (museumobil card) is the
ticket for all public transport in South Tyrol and also allows visitors
until 31.12.2024 to access around 70 museums, collections and exhibitions.
This pass is given to guests by selected hosts as a special benefit.
In the holiday region Tisens-Prissian, the
Südtirol Alto Adige Guest Pass (museumobil card) is available free of charge
since 01.04.2023 to all guests of those holiday accommodation providers who are members of the Tourist Association Tisens-Prissian, as it is financed by contributions from the members.
Guests staying in an establishment that is not a member of the Tourist Association Tisens-Prissian, are not entitled to a Südtirol Alto Adige Guest Pass.
Public transport in South Tyrol:
• Local buses (urban, intercity and city buses), PostAuto Switzerland (Line 811 between Mals/Malles and Müstair) and VVT Direct-Bus (Line 273 between Mals/Malles and Kajetansbrücke)
• Regional trains in South Tyrol (R, RV & RE): Brenner/Brennero to Trento, Mals/Malles to Innichen/S.Candido or Vierschach-Helm/Versciaco-Elmo, Ritten/Renon narrow gauge railway
• Mendel/Mendola funicular
• Public cable cars: Mühlbach-Meransen/Rio di Pusteria-Maranza, Burgstall-Vöran/Postal-Verano, Vilpian-Mölten/Vilpiano-Meltina, Bozen-Kohlern/Bolzano-Colle, Bozen-Ritten/Bolzano-Renon
The following are excluded: Nightliner, long-distance trains (e.g. EC and Intercity trains, Railjet, Frecciarossa, Italo), Lines Seiser Alm/Alpe di Siusi (Line 10, 11, 12), Lines Seiser Alm/Alpe di Siusi in summer (Line 439, 442, 444).
An additional ticket must be purchased for bicycles, dogs and other animals!
Transport of dogs or animals: single ticket or Mobilcard Junior 1, 3 or 7 days (starting from 10,00 €). Free of charge: Guide dogs and small animals that can be held in the arm. Muzzles are compulsory!
Bicycle transport: bicycle day ticket for 7,00 €. Bicycles can be taken on regional trains and on designated bus routes if space is available.
The
Südtirol Alto Adige Guest Pass (museumobil card):
• must have the full name of the guest and the duration of their stay on the reverse
• must be validated at the beginning of each journey, i.e., depending on the ticket validator (ticket validators are all blue! Do not use yellow or green ticket validators!), the South Tyrol Guest Pass must be validated by inserting the ticket or scanning the QR code on the back of the ticket
• must be validated on every bus journey on bus
• must be validated before every train journey in the station/on the platform
• must be validated before every journey on a public cable car at the station
• must be presented at the ticket desk of every museum or exhibition visited (
To visit museums or exhibitions is only possible until 31.12.2024).
• If the ticket (magnetic stripe ticket, which reacts sensitively to cell phones and magnets) is damaged, the ticket validator will stamp "ILLEG/UNLESERL" + date and time on the ticket. In this case, the passenger can continue to travel for the entire day, but must then have the ticket replaced at its accommodation.
• is valid from midnight on the day of arrival until 11.59 pm on the day of departure
• is valid for up to 7 days after the first validation (if staying for more than 7 days a second ticket will be issued)

The Südtirol Alto Adige Guest Pass promotes sustainable mobility and the use of the public transport network as well as making a contribution to reducing the negative effects of private motorised transport.
