From 16 May 2021, visitors from EU countries, Schengen states and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland will be able to enter South Tyrol without having to quarantine. On 26th April 2021 South Tyrol became a yellow zone, wich means that is possible to move freely within the region and to travel between regions classified as low-risk.
The situation in South Tyrol
South Tyrol is taking specific measures to move towards a more normal everyday life. To ensure the reopening and the restart of economic and cultural activities, South Tyrol has intensified its vaccination campaign by launching the initiative “Let's get tested” and by introducing the so-called CoronaPass Südtirol (a kind of "Green Pass" for South Tyrol). Thanks to targeted steps, the aim is to reopen everything in the long term, minimize the risk of infection and go back to our normal everyday lives as soon as possible.
