Kuenser Waalweg Trail
Directions
You start at Gasthof Ungericht in Kuens and follow the road (trail no. 2) uphill for about 30 minutes to Mutlechnerhof (837 m). From there, the markings lead you in another 15 minutes along trail no. 21 to the over 600-year-old "Kuenser Waal".
The path along the canal is easy and pleasant, and it takes about 50 minutes to reach the end.
At the bridge, follow trail no. 6 on the opposite side of the valley for a few hundred meters downhill. Then turn sharply left and reach the trail Unterer Waalweg, which leads you back through shaded forest sections to Gasthof Ungericht.
Good to know: the Kuenser Waalweg Trail carries water from 15/03 to 15/11. The Unterer Waalweg does not carry water.
The trail is not suitable for strollers and wheelchairs.
