In the heart of nature, a remarkable spectacle unfolds: the diverse songs and calls of native bird species. On a short guided walk along the Vorbichl Adventure Trail with ornithologist Erich Gasser, a new perspective on the local wildlife emerges. By listening carefully, participants can discover the astonishing variety of bird voices that are often overlooked in everyday life. With sharpened senses, different species can be identified and distinguished solely by their calls. An informative handout helps to memorize the characteristic sounds and deepens the experience.

Erich Gasser is a founding member of the Working Group for Ornithology and Bird Protection in South Tyrol (AVK Südtirol). Founded in 1974, AVK Südtirol is dedicated to the protection of birds and bats, as well as their habitats. The organization also focuses on raising public awareness, conducting research and studies on the behavior and distribution of birds and bats.
