Hike to Seeber See Lake
Passing between two manned shelters and the picturesque Seeber See lake beneath the glacier, this hike does not require any special precautions.

Directions
The ascent: from the Seeber Alm Alp to the Seeber See Lake
Your hike begins at the Seeber parking area (1,915 m).
From the parking area, follow gravel road no. 20A gently downhill and reach the idyllic Seeber Alm Alp (1,847 m) after about 20 minutes.
From the alpine hut, trail no. 43 first climbs gradually and then somewhat more steeply across beautiful alpine meadows. After about one hour of hiking from the Seeber Alm Alp, you reach the peacfully situated Seeber See Lake (2,063 m), an inviting place for a relaxing break.
Variant via trail no. 44:
If you would like to extend the circular hike, you can cross the bridge behind the Seeber Alm Alp and follow trail no. 44 uphill toward Rauhjoch. After about an hour, turn onto trail no. 43B. Following this route, you reach Seeber See Lake after a total hiking time of around 1.5 hours from Seeber Alm Alp.
The return route: via Oberglanegg Alm Alp back to the parking area
From Seeber See Lake, follow trail no. 43A. This path leads through the alpine landscape with gentle ups and downs and brings you to Oberglanegg Alm Alp (2,060 m) in about 45 minutes.
The final section of the hike follow trail no. 20. From the alpine hut, the path descends somewhat more steeply across the mountain meadows back to the starting point at the Seeber parking area.
The trail is not suitable for strollers and wheelchairs.
Recommended equipment
War sturdy hiking boots, appropriate clothing for the weather and bring sufficient water and provisions.
• Coming from Meran towards the Passeiertal Valley, take the Jaufenstraße SS44 to St. Leonhard, continue on the Timmelsjochstraße to Moos. After Moos, continue to the parking area Seeber
• Coming from the Timmelsjoch, take the Timmelsjochstraße towards Moos to the parking area Seeber
• Coming from the Jaufenpass towards St. Leonhard, take the Jaufenstraße SS44, continue on the Timmelsjochstraße towards Moos and further along the Timmelsjochstraße. After Moos, continue to the parking area Seeber
